What to Expect on a Sunday at CrossFields
-
Our services are held at North Royalton Elementary School. You can pull in the main entrance (there will be signage), pull toward the left as you come in, park on that side of the school, and come in at the cafeteria entrance.

CrossFields Kids Ministry is available for birth through 5th grade children during our Sunday morning service. We create a safe space for kids to learn a biblical lesson in a fun and purposeful way. If you are planning your first visit with us you can speed up the ‘Check-In’ process by filling out the linked form. Upon arrival at NRES you will enter through the main cafeteria entrance. Our greeters will be there to walk you back to our children’s area in the gymnasium. You will use your contact information to then check-in on the iPad. For added safety you will receive a security tag with a unique code that matches your child's name tag to turn in at pickup. We also have a Safety Team onsite each Sunday morning to ensure the safety of your children in our care.

The worship service begins at 10:30 AM, typically lasting about 70-75 minutes. We begin with a welcome and invitation to engage in worship with us. We'll sing a couple contemporary worship songs. After worship, we will share about upcoming ways to engage at CrossFields, followed by a 2-3 minute social break where you can connect with others. After the social break, we come back together for the sermon. The sermon is always rooted in Scripture, whether it is expository (verse-by-verse) or topical (a specific topic). After the sermon, we usually have a 5-minute discussion time where we come together in smaller groups of 4-5 people to discuss a question related to the sermon (once a month we take communion in place of this discussion time). We aim to ensure that our Sundays are engaging and create opportunities for community with others to be cultivated. We finish the service with two more worship songs and a closing prayer.

Simply fill out a connect card (available online-add a link here to the connect card-- or on your seats in the service) and someone from our team will reach out to you to connect further. We would love to follow up, get to know you a bit better, and answer any questions you may have.
We also invite you to join a microchurch where you can experience deeper and more intimate community with others. These gatherings are held in homes and entail worship, community, and mission. You can find out more on our microchurch page.
